BDJ focuses on custom homes, substantial residential remodeling, additions, and owner-builder new-home projects. We are not currently accepting handyman, minor repair, or commercial construction work. If your project will change how your home lives, looks, or functions — that’s our kind of work.

You’ll get a realistic proposal, a licensed and insured contractor managing permits and inspections, and honest communication from demo day to walkthrough — especially when you’re living in the home while we work.
BDJ provides applicable workmanship warranty coverage on projects for which BDJ is the contracting builder or remodeler. Specific warranty terms are included in the construction agreement.

Do you take small projects?
We focus on substantial remodeling projects rather than handyman or minor repair work. If you’re not sure where your project falls, ask — we’ll tell you straight, and point you in the right direction either way.
Do you handle permits?
Yes. As a licensed general contractor, BDJ manages permitting and inspections for the projects we build.
How long will my remodel take?
It depends on scope, selections, and permitting. You’ll get a realistic schedule in your proposal — and honest updates if anything changes.
